Early intervention

The early years are a time of rapid learning. Our early intervention program uses play and daily routines to build the foundations of communication and connection.

Who it's for

Children roughly 18 months to 5 years old with an autism diagnosis or significant developmental concerns. Some families come to us right after diagnosis; others are transitioning from Florida's Early Steps program at age three.

Our approach

  • Naturalistic teaching. Learning opportunities embedded in play, snack, bath, and other everyday moments.
  • Child's motivation first. We follow your child's interests to build engagement.
  • Caregiver coaching built in. Parents learn strategies alongside sessions so practice continues all week.
  • Preschool readiness. Sitting for activities, following group instructions, and separating from caregivers.

Working with other providers

Many young children also see speech, occupational, or physical therapists. With your permission, we coordinate with them so goals support each other.
